Assignment Overview
This assignment is designed to guide students in individualizing their practicum goals based on Course Objectives.
During Week 1, the Learning Agreement will be created by the student, approved by the practicum mentor, and submitted for instructor evaluation and approval.
During Week 6, the Learning Agreement will be reviewed for validation by the practicum mentor and submitted for final evaluation by the instructor.
Week 1: Learning Agreement Assignment Instructions
Review the NR621 Course Outcomes and collaborate with your practicum mentor regarding your goals to meet these outcomes.
Create self-identified practicum objectives to facilitate achievement of each personalized goal. Include a minimum of two objectives for each of the course outcomes.
Develop a plan to meet the self-identified practicum objectives. Include specific activities that will facilitate achievement of each established practicum objectives. Include a minimum of two targeted activities for each practicum objective.
Confirm approval of your Learning Agreement via practicum mentor signature on the Learning Agreement as indicated for Week 1.
Submit your Learning Agreement for instructor approval and grading.
Week 2: Learning Agreement Assignment Instructions
Throughout the practicum course, provide any updates and modifications to the Learning Agreement that are needed to accurately reflect your practicum experience and achievement of the course outcomes.
Review the completed Learning Agreement with your practicum mentor.
Confirm validation of your Learning Agreement via practicum mentor signature on the Learning Agreement as indicated for Week 6.
Submit your Learning Agreement for final instructor validation and grading.
Revision Process
If you do not receive at least a proficient rating in any content category, you can re-submit your assignment with revision to that content category to improve the points earned within that specific section. Please note the following guidelines:
