Kim's grandmother always puts an aspirin pill in a vase of water to keep cut flowers fresher longer she says it keeps them from becoming limp and losing petals as early as they would without the aspirin. Kim decides to test it this really works. For her experiment she pick some flowers from her garden and has a friend do the same in her own garden. They each put the flowers in a vase in their home, with Kim putting aspirin in the water of her vase. For the next five days, Kim and her friend each record observations of their flowers three times a day to look for a color change, dropped petal,s and any other changes. If the vase with the aspirin has fewer dropped petals and just colored flowers at the end of five days Kim will conclude that the aspirin helps keep cut flowers fresh or longer.
*Please help me answer these three questions based on this information*
A.) Identify three variables that were not specifically controlled in this experimental design
B.) For each of these variables, describe how they might affected the outcome of kims experiment.
C.) For each of the variables listed, suggest a way to better control them if the experiment were to be repeated.
It is a very curcial concept to understand how the immune response is mounted against viruses, bacteria, protozoans and helminthes. For an effective immune response, both innate and adaptive immunity should work together.

Lipid metabolites are often seen as key elements in cellular signaling. Is this unique? Please provide several examples of the function of lipids as key elements in signal arrays and list the biologic functions these signals affect?
Please describe how one might search for chemical structure, biologic function relationships, involving small molecular weight lipophylic compounds. Provide one example.
