Discussion Post: Special Populations
Family violence can take many forms and can involve many different types of people. Family violence situations should be analyzed from different viewpoints based on the people involved. Cultural background can determine one's views on what is accepted as a norm. Some individuals have been involved in military service or law enforcement, which may influence behaviors and psychological stability.
In this Discussion, you choose a population or culture that is different from your own and analyze what special considerations need to be made in a situation of family violence.
