Paper Guidelines Psychology is the science of human thought and behavior.
In the history of psychological research there have been many discoveries that have helped us understand how humans act and think.
Not all these studies were done in an ethical way.
This paper will have the student focus on one study and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the experiment conducted.
The student will also discuss how and why the study was unethical. The student will choose from a list of studies provided by the professor.
Papers are to be 1500 words or more, typed, 12 point font, use APA style and include a reference page.
Students will be awarded up to 7 points for each complete answer for questions 1-5 and up to 5 points for correct spelling, grammar, use of APA formatting and a reference page.
This paper is worth a total of 40 points. Late papers will be deducted 3 points for each day late.
Students should answer the following:
1) Who conducted the research and what was the purpose of the study?
2) What was the population being studied? Why did the researchers pick that group?
3) Flow was the research conducted (what did they do?)
4) What were the results or conclusions?
5) Why was this study unethical? Be specific.
