You are required to watch a pre-recorded intake session of a client presenting with problematic alcohol use, then assess how problematic this use is with the help of the AUDIT scale.
Apply and score the client responses to the AUDIT. The document (pdf only) you submit needs to
include:
Your fully scored AUDIT in the appendix of your assignment
Your analysis of the AUDIT score, as it applies to the client's case, in the body of your
report. This analysis needs to include:
A brief explanation of what the AUDIT is and how it was used for this client.
Give a summary of the client's alcohol use from the AUDIT results.

What stage of change the client is in, using the Stages of Change Model (Prochaska & DiClemente, 1986).
The key discrepancies from the intake interview that can be used to create change.
What aspects of motivational interviewing (i.e., principles and spirit) that you would recommend helping this client move towards change.
Your analysis should be supported with at least seven academic peer-reviewed sources (via intext
citations) and follow APA 7th edition guidelines.
