This company is on the verge of collapse due to competition from far east, where such product development services have been computerized and computer simulations have helped reduce trial and error associated with the design processes.

Currently, the board of the company comprise of the father (65 years old) with little scientific education; the mother (who deals with company accounts) and two sons, in their early 40s, who have grown with the business and have acquired an engineering education. The sons have recommended computational modelling as a way to save the organization. The yearly turn-over of the company is £250,000 before tax.

You are required to prepare a 1500-word technical report to the board demonstrating in your view how computational modelling can help save the company. Identify the requirements of a computational solution for the organization and how they can ensure that their current practices is validated against your proposed computational model.

The Word count is se to 1500 but I will not mind a 10% excess but that is the limit. So maximum possible count is 1650. Anything above that will not count... but the official word count is 1500. The word count is from the Title page to the conclusions. References do not count. I also do not expect you to use a Table of Contents for this work. It is just an extended essay, with references but the references do not count for the Word Count.
