Mr. Peters calls a social worker to set up an appointment for his daughter, Di, who Mr. Peters says is having trouble at school. The social worker encourages both Mr. Peters and Di to attend the first session together. At the first session, Di says that she won't come back to more meetings. Mr. Peters agrees to come back so that he can learn better parenting skills. Di asks the social worker if the social worker is on Di's (her) side or her father's side.

Question 2: A social worker meets with a 13-year-old client. After the session, the client's parents ask the worker what the client said during the meeting. Under Standard 1/07 of the NASW Code of Ethics, what should the social worker do?
