Our Painting and Decorating Workshop is a dedicated space for Painting-related activities that is equipped with a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools, as well as specialized Painting equipment such as saws, drills, sanders, and planers. It is typically a large open space with workbenches, storage facilities, and racks for tools and materials. Our Painting and Decorating Workshop is used for a variety of activities, including cutting, shaping, joining, and finishing wood and other materials to create various structures and objects, such as furniture, Painting, and building components. Safety is a top priority in our Painting and Decorating Workshop, and workers (Trainees) must follow strict guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
This workshop task includes role-play tasks where you are required to interact and communicate with simulated workplace supervisor (Assessor) This task is more than application of theory and it is a hands-on task for you to demonstrate application of skills and knowledge of what you have learned from training in a real workplace or simulated workplace environment.
This practical workshop task is designed to bridge theory with hands-on experience, emphasising the application of skills and knowledge acquired through training. Set within a simulated workplace, this task uses role-play scenarios where candidates interact with a simulated workplace supervisor (Assessor) to navigate through real-world challenges. Detailed in the appendix are essential resources, including policies, procedures, and other relevant documents, to guide you through this immersive learning experience. Through this workshop, you'll engage directly with practical work environment documents, applying what you've learned in a setting that mirrors actual workplace conditions.
