A ball (mass 0.30 kg) is attached to the end of a stick. The ball is spun in a horizontal circle at a constant rate. Because of air resistance a constant torque exerted on the system to keep it spinning at that rate. Assuming that the air exerts a miniscule force on the stick (but a significant force on the ball), determine the force the air exerts on the ball.
