Adrian is a 34-year-old social worker at Tennant Creek Hospital. He moved from Melbourne after graduating 6 months earlier. His family has remained in Melbourne.

Adrian is from Sudan and has reported to his supervisor that he is experiencing racism within his personal life and has begun to impact his work with patients and colleagues.

Identify the causes of the tension experienced by Adrian and the strategies that could be adopted by Adrian to address these issues.
