Question: The purpose of this assignment is to have you develop a co-teaching lesson plan that you might use as a springboard for future lesson plans. You will use the div found in Hentz & Jones (2011, pp. 74-75) to complete this assignment. You will complete the prompts and identify how you will employ one of the co-teaching approaches, who will be responsible, and how you will evaluate each component of the lesson. This includes student evaluation as well as teacher and curriculum efficacy evaluation. To get full credit on this assignment you will need to identify subject, local state (or national standards), develop a lesson objective, and complete the form for "Instructional Considerations, Opening Activity, Teacher Activities. Student activities, and Closure" (pp.74-75). Additionally you will need to have a list of resources and materials needed for the lesson. Remember that the focus is on your ability to use co-teaching models through this lesson, so focus on how you will collaborate as co-teachers to get this done.
