Explain your patient's current health status by describing your patient's acute disease process(es) r/t current diagnosis. Connect disease to pt's lab values, diagnostic tests results, and assessment data. Connect other diseases/ chronic diseases, if involved, and how affecting.
In relation to the diseases above, explain how patient's medications, medical treatment, and nursing care are overcoming patient's disease state, to help this patient. Include fluid balance, dietary intake, elimination, activity/ADLs changes and other interventions in discussion.
What has to happen medically for this pt to be allowed to be discharged?

Note - Need 1500 + words. Define normal for this patient. Are you talking about a regular rate of BMs or formed stool vs liquid? What about bowel sounds? Abdominal tenderness or rigidity? What about albumin levels as an indicator of nutrition levels?
