Problem: In regards to the article "An Outcome Evaluation of the Sources of Strength Suicide Prevention Program Delivered by Adolescent Peer Leaders in High Schools" Peter A. Wyman, PhD, C. Hendricks Brown, PhD, Mark LoMurray, BA, Karen Schmeelk-Cone, PhD, Mariya Petrova, BA, Qin Yu, PhD, Erin Walsh, MS, Xin Tu, PhD, and Wei Wang, PhD. Identify trauma focused aspects that affected (or could have affected) the evaluation. Discuss if this involved competency of the research team, inclusion of trauma focus in how the study was implemented or collecting data that produced trauma focused factors in the final report. Identify the area of trauma from the study which you are researching. Discuss what you learned about the trauma history, trauma response, and risk and resilience factors related to the trauma. Use at least one peer reviewed article to show you are learning current evidence based information about trauma. And identify areas in the study where trauma focus could have been used but was not used. Explain exactly what you propose. Support your idea with a peer reviewed article as an indication of evidence-based use of trauma focus in research.
