Your leadership style influences the way you make decisions and use strategies to address conflict. For example, if your leadership style emphasizes motivation, you are likely to employ motivation to work with staff and address conflict. How you address conflict provides insight into how you might execute your role as a human services administrator.

For this Journal Assignment, select an organization with which you are associated or one with which you are familiar. Revisit the "Types of Leadership and Patterns of Management" tool you completed in Week 6. Think about how your leadership style would influence how you might address conflict in the organization you selected.
