Second: Complete the attached Goal Setting Worksheet for the specific individual identified previously.
Third: Create a 3-page paper (minimum of 750 words, excluding title and references page and Goal Setting Worksheet) that explains in detail your goal setting plan, including the "motivational tools" you will apply. Of particular importance is showing how the short-term goals are linked to the long-term goal and specifically how you will measure each short-term goal. You must have at least 4 short-term goals and two (2) of these goals must be process goals.
The importance of this assignment is to gain experience assisting someone with establishing SMARTS (i.e., specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, time-bound, and self-determined) goals which address the selected individual's ability to learn/perform a movement (i.e., skill) of substance or achieve an objective.
