For this week's Learning Space Blog, start by looking at the table on page 461 of your Behavior Modification text. On your Blog, do your best to fill out this table for yourself, listing at least two behavioral defecits and two behavioral excesses. Keep in mind that other students and your instructor will read this, so you should identify behaviors that you are comfortable sharing and that are appropriate for an academic setting. Once you are done, pick one of your behaviors to write a self-management plan for. Also on the Blog, outline a self-management strategy for the behavior that you chose from your table. This can be a deficit or an excess. The strategy must have the following: .Target behavior with topographical definition.
Objective for how you wish to increase or decrease this behavior. .A support plan consisting of at least one antecedent intervention, one contingency-based aspect (e.g., reinforcement or punishment), a plan for getting extra support if you need it, and how you will evaluate the plan.
Once you have finished, discuss how it felt to write this plan and whether you think this would be useful to you. If you would like, start to implement the plan and then add to your Blog discussing how the intervention is going. Respond to at least three of your peers about what they have completed.
