Business Research Project

Purpose: Assignment 3 - the Individual Reflective Journal - is designed to ensure each student is able to document a critical reflection of their personal learning process, as experienced during this unit. In preparation for this final submission, it is suggested that you make some notes (to yourself) each week, to remind you of how you were feeling and what struggles you were engaged in, so that by the end of the trimester those notes will serve as a reminder of which sections you were challenged by, and you can say what you learnt, and how you experienced the learning process.

It is essential that your emphasis be on what you experienced, what challenged you personally, how you dealt with that and what you gained from it. It is NOT enough to just summarise what was done. This assignment must reflect and describe your own personal deeplearning AND be authentic so as to convince the reader as to the extent of your integral understanding and engagement throughout the research process.

Think of this as if you were writing to a friend or family member, giving your honest views on your personal learning journey as an early-stage researcher.

2. Page 2 onwards: My personal reflections of the work I performed in the literature review (specify which RQ(s) you personally researched):
2a. how I experienced this process of learning, e.g. in what ways it was different to other subjects or projects.
2b. what academic research challenges I personally faced, e.g. what you learned by having to locate and read published literature
2c. what I learnt from those, e.g. what I mastered and what I could do better in future

3. Final page: What I learnt from the curriculum (lectures and tutorials) and MCQ test and how I intend to apply my knowledge of the business research process in the future
