Problem: Bliss to me is a complex feeling. It is a combination of happiness, love, sense of fulfillment, and contentment. For me to feel completely blissful I want myself and kids to be happy, feel loved, and proud of themselves. I think a true blissful state comes from all of these emotions coming together, it is not just one emotion. Compared to the Buddhist nirvana, where there is a lack of craving, I think it could be similar. In my mind if you are experiencing all of these emotions that come together and make you blissful then you are not craving anything. In my mind if I am truly blissful, I have everything I need or want and therefore am not craving anything. In that sense, it matches nirvana. I could also see how you could say that my version of bliss is a little different than nirvana because you crave all of these things and emotions to get this blissful state.
