Case: The day after Billy bas been waived to adult court, Chester is greeted by several phone calls from reporters inquiring as to the transfer of Billy to adult court. (Unbeknownst to Chester, Billy's father called and complained to the media alleging collusion between Hang M. Hy and the police department.) Amongst the numerous phone calls, Chester received, one is from Billy's father who belligerently berates Officer Happie's handling of the restorative justice process, and hangs up with the threat of going to the media with details of the mediation fiasco. Chester, recognizing the potential political ramifications, contacts the mayor and expresses his desire to suspend Officer Happie without pay. The mayor, quite flustered, states "I warne·d you about hiring that female." The mayor advises the chief to meet with human resources manager to determine a response.
