Question: how to respond to The Theory that most aligns with my personal viewpoint would be the Respectful model of culteral competency developement. I feel that in order to address all the information with these clients, professionals wil need to dive into these 10 different factors individually to understand the different clients they may come across and know how to address them and their problems. These 10 factors addressed in this model are religious/spiritual identity, economic class background, sexual identity, level of psychological development, ethnic/racial identity, chronological/developmental challenges, various forms of trauma and other threats to one's sense of well-being, family background and history, unique physical characteristics, and location of residence and language differences. I feel all these factors provide for ever different possible population that professionals could come across. In the book it states, "by addressing each of these dimensions with clients, helpers can better understand the varying factors that impact client development, increasingly work in a more holistic fashion with clients, and be able to develop effective strategies when working with clients.". I completely agree. Addressing each factor individually and learning about them indepth would provide for a very culturally competent viewpoint and would provide many skills
