The Art Analysis is an assignment that you complete on your own.

Watch the three videos that teach you how to analyze a painting. Take notes on the terminology introduced (line, texture, form, etc.) and how each concept is used to analyze a painting. There are 13 terms presented in the videos. In order to earn a grade of A, you must use 10 of these terms correctly in your analysis. Discuss each term separately for clarity.

Select one of the paintings (images and links below) and write an analysis of it using the terminology presented in the three videos. You may write this assignment using a narrative format, or bullet points. You may use other sources if you want to see a larger or more detailed image of the painting. If you use outside sources, be sure to provide proper citations.
