You are producing a thin film in order to minimize the amount of glare in the visible spectrum that is produced off of a glass surface your company is manufacturing with index of refraction of 1.2. To do this, you have chosen a material with an index of refraction of 1.3 to produce the film.

A) If you attempt to minimize the amount of glare produced by 550 nm light (green), how thick should the film be to accomplish this task and also minimize the material cost?

B) If instead, you use a material with an index of refraction of 1.1 but the same thickness as before, what is the longest wavelength that will undergo complete destructive interference?
