Sociological Reflection: Gaycation USA
The series Gaycation explores LGBTQ cultures around the world and the contradictions, struggles and ambiguity often involved.
In this episode, the hosts go on a road trip from Iowa to New York City, during which they explore both the progress and setbacks of the LGBTQ movement in the United States.
Instructions: After watching the episode (link below), you will answer the following questions in essay format, using APA formatting.
Your paper should include in-text citations, a cover page and reference page and should be a minimum of 3 pages double spaced (body of your paper). You should use specific examples from the episode to highlight your arguments along with sociological theory/concepts that we have discussed in class. You should also use at least 3 outside sources to augment your analysis (3 sources other than your book).
