Problem

The intervention description will be for Improving Respect and Manners in a Classroom.

Developing an intervention to improve respectful behavior in students in an elementary school system. The socially significant conduct targeted is the constant use of polite language and delivering respect to peers and teachers. This conduct is essential for making a praising and facilitative learning environment by implementing a simple token economy system.

To improve the desired behavior of respect and manners, behavior analysts will implement a simple token economy system (e.g., stickers, points for prizes or privileges), constant polite language, and respect for peers and teachers. Plan reinforcement, providing tokens for each instance of polite behavior and respectful interactions. The exchange procedure allows students to exchange tokens for preferred items or privileges at the end of the week (e.g., extra recess time and small prizes).
