Title: As Engineers, how should we be involved in global policy making?

Description

      Write a section of a report with the written title. I would need at least 4 or 5 references, which needs to be peer-revised. It has to be coherent with other sections of the report. I'll write below what are the main points of this paper, but my section is the role of engineers in Global Warming policy.

Few issues, in recent times, have attracted more attention worldwide than global warming. This has exposed the role of global policy makers in a way that was not recognized by many before. The group working on this topic will investigate how global policy is arrived at, and how it impacts upon individual countries. When forming global policy, can the policy makers ensure that all countries are fairly represented? Should global policy makers be able to affect the policies enforced by individual countries? As Engineers, how should we be involved in global policy making?

As such, the need for policies to address the situation is essential, and the role of engineers in global policy making remains relevant as well. For instance, as the world experiences spontaneous economic growth, it comes along with increased industrial development which directly impacts on the environment, particularly through increased pollution.
