2. This question involves explaining how a professional can proactively approach career changes. Entrepreneurship remains vital to small business development. With 96.1% of all businesses categorized as a small business, the likelihood of you either being an entrepreneur or working for one is extremely high.

For this essay, visit www.sba.gov and view the characteristics of and opportunities available for an entrepreneur. After reviewing the possibilities, state whether or not you have an interest in entrepreneurship.

Then, explain how you could use the information on sba to proactively approach career changes. Remember, your essay can take the position of actually being an entrepreneur or at least working with an entrepreneur. Your response must be at least 250 words in length.

Question 1

Social behavior is a major issue taken into consideration whenever business is being run within a particular industry. In this regard, the management of a particular organization has to ensure that the relationship between its customers and the clients are good. An employee therefore has to display appropriate etiquette whenever attending to a customer. The first interaction with a customer is what determines whether they will make a repeat purchase or refer a friend.

An example of social behavior is whereby an employee Walmart discriminated against its female employees making them feel less valued that the male counterparts. As a result they received poor pay and in the long run negatively affected the female employees' performance. The public had a negative view of the company and their general sales were affected because of having a policy valuing its male employees more than the female.

An individual's attitude is affected in that, when an employee has a good attitude, he or she is likely to offer a performance at work because they are likely to focus all their energy on a task. However, a poor attitude makes one perform dismally. A strong personality helps one strike deals whenever seeking to sign deals with another organization because of the interest or passion they display. Goal setting is an important aspect towards goal achievement as it will communicate what is required for a particular task. The employees handling the task will then know what they have to put in place in order to achieve the end result of a particular task.

Being an individual with high level of creativity, I am an individual who endeavors to make change thus being an entrepreneur is what I would vouch for. I look forward to being my own boss and do what I like while at the same satisfying the needs of my target customers. Satisfying clients and keeping the coming back is one way that would make me feel happy for having impacted the lives of others and at the same time commanding a part of the market within an industry.

Based on the information from the United States small business administration, in a bid to ensure I am proactively engaged on a career change as an entrepreneur, I will have to ensure that research on the opportunities available in the industry I intend to venture in. The next step will be identifying the loopholes existing within the industry and make a mark by offering the services that are not availed by the companies that are already operating within the industry.

The next step will be seeking registration with the registrar of companies then seek capital from the relevant institution that lend to the small businesses. Before seeking funds I will have to work on my business plan so as to show the manner I will be undertaking my company's operations. Moreover, being that I am the one running this company, I will have to plan on how best to recruit the right people with the relevant skills. Keeping the financial and filing taxes will also be a vital part of my new career since every entrepreneur has to keep track of their finances and account for every single cent spent.
