This question has to do with the oil drop experiment and how much voltage must be applied to keep a drop suspended in air. an oil drop has a diameter of 1.5 x 10^-6 m and a density of 0.8 g/cubic cm. The distance between the plates is 0.014 m. If the drop has a charge of 1.602*10^-19, how much voltage must be used to keep the oil drop suspended?
