Question: A company is making a cranberry cocktail blend by mixing pure juices. The following juices are available: 50 kg of grape juice (12% sugar) and 20kg of cranberry juice (8% sugar). The company's standard for sugar content in the juice blend is 10.5%. The juice blend is to be filled into 350 ml bottles for sale. If we wanted to use up all the available cranberry juice, how much grape juice is needed? How many whole bottles of 350mL blended juice could be produced from this blend? (We are not interested in partially filled bottles) assume the specific gravity of the blend is 1.05 kg/L.
