During exercise, 25 glycogen molecules and 150 glucose molecules are used to produce energy. How many net ATP are formed from carbohydrate metabolism if the end products are CO2 and water? I have been given a hint that the answer lies somewhere between 7000 and 8000 and that the question is talking about the amount of ATP produced up to the end of the Krebs cycle, but am having trouble calculating the correct answer. Please show work/explanation on how to solve.
