A basin at a water treatment plant is 60 ft long, 10 ft wide, and 5 ft deep. Water flows from the basin over a 3-ft-long, rectangular weir whose crest is 4 ft above the bottom of the basin. Estimate how long it will take for the depth of the water in the basin to change from 4.5 ft to 4.4 ft if there is no flow into the basin.
