A child launches an air powered toy rocket up into the air giving it an initial velocity of 6m/s at an angle of 80degree above the horizontal. If we consider the coordinate system as shown in Figure 1 (where the launch point is at the origin) and neglecting air resistance,

a) What is the velocity (both x and y component) of the rocket 0.8seconds after it has been launched?

b) How long after the rocket is launched does it take for the rocket to hit the ground?
