For this assignment conduct an in-depth interview with an elderly informant who is 65 years old or older. The goal of this assignment will be to investigate how cultural norms can change over time from generation to generation. The interview will focus on the topic of gender roles. In the interview writer will need to ask the informant what gender roles were like when they were growing up and to compare their experiences with how they perceive gender roles in today's world.

A short essay summarizing your interview. The essay should not consist of simply a list of questions and answers. It should be written in essay form with an introduction and conclusion. Your concluding paragraph should focus on the interpretations of how gender roles have changed between the informant's generation and the current generation.
