A 1.5kg weight hangs from a 8.0kg, solid wheel with a 20 cm circumfrence by a thin string wrapped several times around the circumfrence. The wheel turns around a fixed, vertical axel on a good bearing that we can treat as frictionless. The system is started from rest and the weight is allowed to fall 70cm to the floor.

a) How fast (in radians/second) is the wheel turning just before the weight hits the floor?

b) What is the angular acceleration of the system?
