Problem: A child in a sled glides along on a flat, snowy surface towards a snowy incline of angle 35.0o with respect to the horizontal. Her speed at a distance 17.5 m from the incline is 24.8 m/s.

Part A: How far up the hill would she slide if the surface were completely frictionless?

Part B: How far up the hill does she slide if the coefficient of kinetic friction between the bottom of the sled and the snow is 0.100?
