A 3.5-cm tall object is viewed through a converging lens. When the lens moves from one place to another, the orientation of the image changes from upright to inverted. The change happens when the distance between the lens and the object is 6.3 cm. The lens stops at a certain place.

(a) Does the lens move toward the object or away from it?

(b) When the lens stops, the size of the image is 4.2 cm. How far from the object does the lens stop?
