A 2.0 kg tether ball is attached to a vertical pole by a 1.5 m long rope. The ball is swung around the pole at an angle of 60 degrees from vertical. Draw a force- body diagram. Calculate the tension in the rope and the speed of the ball. If the speed of the ball doubles, how does the tension and angle of the rope change?
