If you are able to bring forth a memory, stay with it for a few minutes. Experience that feeling. Who are you with in this memory? What is happening? Now slowly open your eyes and return to the present. Reflect on your experience. How did you feel? Was there one person in particular who helped you feel that way? This activity is designed to elicit feelings connected with the experience of emotional attachment. These are feeling memories that we may call on in times of stress. This exercise is not necessarily an easy one to do, so do not be alarmed i you were not able to call forth a memory.
