Experiential Paper
A key requirement of this paper is that each should explain in sufficient details what the experience taught them about how difficult it is to abstain from alcohol if you are dependent on it. This requirement is worth nearly one third of the points for this assignment. As a reminder, this first experiential paper will require each of you to detail your experience of giving up something of value for 72 hours. You will select some substance, food, behavior, or habit and abstain from it for 72 hours.
Record your experiences, thoughts, feelings, and actions in relation to the abstinence process and chronicle it in a paper. Be sure to also include an introduction and conclusion as well as explain what you learned from the experience in terms of what it might feel like for someone who is dependent on alcohol to give it up permanently.
A 750 word paper detailing individual experience of giving up something of value to the student for 1 weekend.
