Assessment Task Sheet
Overview
This is an individual assessment. Students will be required to critically reflect on their key learnings throughout the unit. The assessment has three (3) parts, and you must address ALL three (3) parts.
The total word limit is 1200-1500 words, including in-text citations but excluding your reference list. You can write in the first person ((I, my) as you are critically reflecting on your oven development within the unit. Please include your reference list at the end of your response
Part 1: Indigenous culture, history and the current challenges facing Indigenous communities (400-500 words)
• What has resonated with you and made you think?
• How has engaging in this unit changed your understanding of Indigenous communities?
• How did your cultural background and your own identity influence your response to Assessment 1?

Part 2: CSR and ethical business communication (400-500 words)
• How has engaging in this unit changed your understanding and perspectives of CSR and responsible business communication and decision-making?
• How do you think your cultural background and identity have influenced your understanding of CSR and responsible business communication and decision-making?
• When you were researching your chosen company and SDG for Assessment 2: Oral Presentation, what was the most interesting finding? Why did it resonate with you?
• Do you think the broad or narrow view of CSR is preferable for companies? And why?

Part 3: Individual cultural and communication skills development (400-500 words)
• What was your approach to learning at the start of the semester? Did it change over the course of the semester?
• Choose a specific skill (e.g. oral communication, writing, critical thinking, referencing, emotional intelligence) and explain how you have developed this skill in this unit over the course of this semester. What worked and what did not? How will you apply this skill in your future career?
• If you are required to complete SUCCESS if you have received ELPA 3 on Assessment 1, you can include this as part of your reflection in this section.
