Jesse McDougal is an 87-year-old male with a history of heart attack x2, premature coronary artery disease, diabetes mellitus type II, obesity, hypercholesterolemia, hypertriglyceremia, osteoarthritis, spondylolisthesis, iliotibial band syndrome and chronic pain.
Below are the client's medications currently being administered. Review them against the Beers Criteria to determine if you need to communicate with the prescriber to recommend a medication review based upon Mr. McDougal's age and the recommendations noted in the Beers Criteria.
