A prestigious college is interested in factors that might be associated with better graduation rates. The administrators wonder whether there is a relationship between acceptance rates and graduation? rates, so they researched 50 schools and performed a regression analysis. They concluded that there is a significance relationship between graduation rates and admission rates for these schools. Would it be wise for the administrators at the college to conclude that lowering their admission rate? (i.e., making it harder to get? in) would help to increase their graduation? rates?
