CLIMATE CHANGE DISCUSSION Climate change exacerbates many of the environmental health challenges we have discussed in this module (and more).

Question: What are some specific examples of the impact of climate change on other (global) environmental health problems?

Example: Coral reef bleaching events (caused by climate change) may lead to significant coral mortality which in turn can perpetuate large shifts in fish communities. These changes may result in reduced catches for fishermen that typically target reef species this in turn can lead to impacts on the food supply and associated economic activities. Please spend some time either alone or in small groups discussing the above question and identify at least three specific examples. Please make sure to provide details - I would anticipate approximately 3-5 sentences needed in order to clearly describe each example and to earn full credit for this activity.
