I have to write a two part paper.

The first part is on how global enery policies and practices might result in local acts of ethnocide using examples from the movie The Biofule Myth: Harsh Realities in the Developing World and the movie Tuvalu: Keeping Heads Above Water. Where do I begin?

The second part is to discuss how understand of indigenous "rights" may vary when viewed from the contrasting perspectives of the individual culture. With respect to my discussion, be sure to examine, from an analytical perspective, the propsition that "self-determination is a human right." Again, where do I begin?

With respect to both parts, what would I even talk about?
