Suppose that the long ear lobes in humans is an autosomal dominant trait that exhibits 30 percent penetrance. A person who is heterozygous for long ear lobes mates with a person who is homozygous for normal ear lobes. What is the probability that their child will have long ear lobes? (Hint –the ear lobe trait and penetrance are both independent traits). Express your answer as a percent.
