Formal Presentation - An individual talk on a topic of your choice.

Choose your topic carefully; nothing contentious or offensive, but keep it Interesting! Make it deliverable in the allocated time (between 5 to 6 minutes), as you will be marked on timing. Visual aides are encouraged, including over-heads or power-point slides, but if using these, limit yourself to 4 or 5 over-heads or slides at the most. Practise in the mirror with a timer!!

This individual oral presentation -

The talk should be at least 5 minutes long (with a maximum of 6 minutes).
A warning bell will be given at 5 minutes and another at 6 minutes.

Think about: Introduction, body and conclusion for your talk.

You could make notes (point form on small cards) for your own use (but you should not read them word for word).
Dress code is informal.
You can use visual aids (overheads, power-points, props) and/or a class Handouts.

Assessment and Feedback - Your talk will be formally assessed by the teaching staff but we will also ask students' to give constructive, helpful feedback to other students. Your mark and a summary of the feedback will be returned to you within two weeks of the last presentations.

Note - Need 5 minutes presentation.
