In your response, focus on how Baldwin reaches out to the audience using logos, pathos, and ethos

Think about what is involved in the process of reading a piece of literature. How do ideas, feelings, and descriptions get from Baldwin's heart and mind to your heart and mind? How are you, as the reader, essential for the communication process of writing to be complete?
