When Neil Armstrong was on the moon he used a spring scale to measure the mass of several rocks. The scale was calibrated on earth to display the mass in kilograms. On the moon one of the rocks "weighed" 13.5 kg on the scale. What is its actual mass. The acceleration of gravity on the moon is 1.62 m/s2.
