A voltage generator is connected to the input of a lossless line short-circuited at the far end. The frequency of the generator is varied and the line voltage and line current at the input terminals are monitored. It is found that the voltage reaches a maximum value of 10 V at 405 MHz and the current reaches a maximum value of 0.2 A at 410 MHz.
