A DC machine (6 kW, 120V, 1200 RPM) has the following magnetization characteristics at 1200 RPM.

The machine parameters are Ra = .2 ohms

The DC machine rotates at 1500 RPM and it delivers rated current at rated terminal voltage. The field winding is connected to a 120 V supply. Find the value of the field current and the value of R (field control resistance) required.
