The assignment asks questions from topic- Vectors. Parallel vectors have their x ,y and z(if it's 3D) components proportional. Section formula is used to calculate pos. vector of a point cut by 2 Vectors in a given ratio. It can also be used to calculate position vector of a point outside 2 vectors, given the ratio in which it cuts these 2 vectors , called as external case .In that case formula changes a little bit replacing plus sign with minus. Triangle law of vector addition is used to calculate resultant of 2 Vectors .One should note that Vectors acts from head to tail . So AB vector isn't same as BA .Infact AB has a direction opposite to that of BA and hence AB=-BA . Also note that Parallel Vectors have same direction cosines but have different direction ratios. The chapter is interesting is one is eager to learn and easy too .
